The Field Museum’s Youth Council is excited to announce the first curioCITY of the year, Cracking the Code, featuring guest speakers Erica Zahnle, DNA Educator Researcher at The Field Museum and Oren Livne, Engineer at Google. Erica and Oren both built their careers around code, but how they got started in their careers and how they use code on a day-to-day basis couldn’t be more different.
From a beginning in Museum exhibitions to career shift to DNA research to growing up in Israel and moving to the United States, learn about how Erica and Oren’s career pathways have evolved. Members of Youth Council will co-facilitate the conversation and teens are highly encouraged to ask questions.
