CURE (Part 1): Grounding with Cotton

Join Maya Marie from Deep Routes and Sunder Ashni from Mumbet’s Freedom Farm for a collective experience of connecting with cotton through sensory based exploration and agricultural skill sharing. During this session, participants will have space to learn about cotton cultivation alongside reflection of its journeys across continents.

CURE (cultivating understanding and restoring the earth) is a Mumbet’s Freedom Farm series intending to nourish and center the experiences of those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and anyone with an inherited history of colonization in the Americas at large.
