About this Event

Many areas of the U.S. are experiencing an increase in the frequency of intense storms, heavy precipitation events, and associated flooding. Dan Herms, Vice President of Research & Development from Davey Tree Expert Company, will discuss the vital role trees can play in curbing the negative consequences of a changing climate. While all trees "feel the heat", some are experiencing increased stress and mortality in certain areas, yet increased growth in others. Join us for this informative online presentation to learn more about the challenges facing our future forests and some simple strategies you can use to take root for storm water!

An email with registration link and info will be sent the day prior to the presentation. If you have any questions about registering, please contact Melissa at Erie Conservation District at 419-239-2652, or email mfeliciano@eriecounty.oh.gov.

Door prizes will be given away to a few lucky attendees!
