Terrie Andrews, PhD, FACHE is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of combined clinical, operational, and leadership experience. She leads Here Tomorrow, an organization focused on removing the most critical barriers to mental health support: accessibility and affordability. Since 2021, Here Tomorrow has provided suicide prevention support at no cost and with no wait to more than 2,600 individuals in crisis. Here Tomorrow’s services remain at no cost throughout an entire year for friends – those feeling hopeless or suicidal – and family – those concerned about a loved one who may be at risk of suicide.
Dr. Andrews earned her PhD in Counseling and School Psychology from Florida State University and began her career at Baptist Health in 2013 as an outpatient psychologist. During this time, she specialized in psychological testing and psychotherapy for children and adults while also serving as a psychologist for the University of Florida’s adolescent weight management clinic.
In 2015, Dr. Andrews was appointed Director of Outpatient Services for Behavioral Health at Baptist Health. She advanced to the role of System Administrator in 2017 and, in 2021, was promoted to Vice President of Behavioral Health. In this capacity, she oversaw all system-wide behavioral health operations and managed 500 providers, staff and nursing professionals. Under her leadership, the program achieved notable expansions in access and quality of care.
In 2023, Dr. Andrews pursued a national platform for change by joining Walmart Health as Director of their national behavioral health program. She implemented a robust, evidence-based initiative aimed at improving access to mental health services across the country. While the program brought meaningful benefits to patients, systemic challenges limited Walmart Health’s ability to disrupt the healthcare ecosystem, leading Dr. Andrews back to Jacksonville.
Dr. Andrews became Here Tomorrow’s President and CEO in 2025, having first engaged with the organization three years earlier. She led an initiative to staff two Here Tomorrow certified peers inside the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville adult inpatient behavioral health unit. Within one year, Here Tomorrow peers offered emotional support to over 500 Baptist patients, led support groups for more than 300 Baptist patients, and inspired 92 individuals in crisis to become Here Tomorrow friends.
That collaboration continues with Dr. Andrews at the helm of Here Tomorrow. Her leadership is focused on driving innovation, improving access to support, and advancing community health outcomes in Greater Jacksonville.
