This crash course will get you dance-floor ready in just a few hours—no stress, no experience needed.

This fun, beginner-friendly workshop teaches you the essential footwork, timing, and turns of Cumbia. We break everything down step-by-step so you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to shine.

Come solo or with a partner—both work!
No partner? We rotate so everyone gets practice.
Coming as a couple? You’re welcome to stay together.

7:30 PM – Cumbia foundations + footwork
8:00 PM – Beginner figures, turns, and technique
9:00 PM – Fun combinations + guided review
10:00 PM – Complementary social dancing after the workshop

📘 SYLLABUS – Cumbia 101 (Perfect for Absolute Beginners)

Start from zero and build a solid foundation. You’ll learn:

• Basic steps, back to back steps
• Right and left turns
• Side turns, in-and-out turns, alternating turns
• Timing, rhythm, & partner connection
• Easy social dance figures & combinations

This class is ideal for brand-new students or anyone wanting to polish their basics before moving on to more intermediate moves.
