Event description

Description

"Jews Love Chinese Food" sounds like a punchline. However, there is some shared history between the Jews and the Chinese, as two sizable non-Christian immigrant groups to the United States.

Join an amazing evening with Grace Yek, as she takes us on a journey of solidarity and succulence; cultures and cuisine. These conversations of culture are especially timely as Wise Temple is currently spearheading an initiative with Refugee Connect whose mission is to improve the lives of refugees in Greater Cincinnati. Through community program funding, Wise Temple will continue its support of the refugee community by engaging Wise Temple volunteers. Young adult volunteers will help high school refugees navigate the complicated college admission process, and help college students navigate campus support resources. Other Wise Temple volunteers will help refugee adults and families fully and successfully acclimate to their daily lives.
