About the Trainer Isabel S. Perez-Yanez

Isabel S. Perez-Yanez, MPH, CHES is a consultant and statewide trainer with over 20 years of direct and administrative experience in public health, education, and social services. She has worked in the areas of gang and domestic violence, prevention and intervention, diverse populations, adolescent issues, perinatal health, substance abuse and diverse family issues. She has taught in the Master's of Social Work Program at California State University East Bay (CSUEB) and at the College of San Mateo in the Alcohol and Other Drug Certificate Program. Her specialty has been teaching about the complex issues related to substance abuse and being culturally responsive in working with diverse pouplations. She has conducted statewide trainings for UC Davis, State Corrections and ONTRACK Program Resources' Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Program.



Edgewood Center for Children and Families is approved by American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Edgewood Center for Children and Families maintains responsibility for this program and its content. To receive CE credits provided by Edgewood, you must attend the entire training. We will be unable to provide attendees with certificates of completion if more than 15 minutes of course content is missed. If you will be requesting CE credits, please bring you license number to the training. No partial credit offered.
