Dr. Eugena G. is a participating author at the 8th African American Authors & Empowerment Expo, Saturday October 7th. The 8th Expo is a free community event. Come and purchase a copy of either or both of her books to educate, empower, and enlighten yourself and/or family members. Books will be discounted at the expo only with printed coupon voucher from this Eventbrite.

Book 1: Letters to the Black Community ($5 with Expo Coupon Voucher):

Letters to the Black Community focuses on generational experiences of racial oppression within the Black Community and its development of the illness, internalized oppression. In Letters to the Black Community, Dr. Eugena G. discusses an array of ways the symptoms of internalized oppression manifest within the community, but also offer general solutions to combat this maladaptive phenomenon. This book is a perfect resource for aspiring college students, academics, and the general body of individuals pursing ideas for positive change within the community.

Book 2: The Steps I Took ($15 at Expo):

The Steps I Took is an interactive workbook text for students interested in learning strategies to enhance opportunities for scholarship, higher education, and career obtainment. It is a resource for students regardless of whether or not they have decided on an academic or career interest. The strategies contained in this workbook also provide a mechanism for early planning, solutions to an array of questions first generational college students may have about career options and illustrative examples that will provide students a platform to prepare for their next level of academic study.
