Cultural Competency, Cultural Diversity, and Issues of Privilege and Oppression: Definitions and Applications in Social Service Practice- Part 2

This two part workshop is intended to provide ways to spark thinking and assist social service providers to begin discussions regarding issues related to race, gender, class, sexual orientation. The intention is to begin dialogues and find ways to integrate discussions and practical applications in our daily work with the people we serve as well as within our own teams. The workshop is intended to challenge our own perceptions and give a starting place for improving systems.

Our Trainer will be Kat Hammer, LCSW- Director of the Lewis Center.
