Cultural ART-iculation

Attendees will be empowered to channel their cultural voice and ART-iculate it through mixed media, collage and ready made items that will be available. The workshop will be about the creative power of the arts to move us emotionally into inspiring social change. With our individual unique cultural experiences all of our voices are valid, inspirational and operative. Guidance on how to use the provided materials, what art activism is and basics on compositional structures will be presented in the first part of the workshop. Once pieces are completed the group will share their piece and their message as we discuss resources to replicate their pieces so that they are empowered to share their voices further.
