A peaceful and compassionate world begins within each of us. Before we can extend love to others, we must first be able to meet ourselves with loving acceptance and kindness.
Research shows that self-compassion has been linked to greater well-being. When we adopt the practice of self-compassion, we reduce anxiety and depression. We also improve our emotional coping skills and the expression of compassion toward others.
Awaken and cultivate self-compassion in your day-to-day life. In this one-day workshop, you will:
examine long-held patterns of self-judging and self-criticism that no longer serve you and are holding you back from full expression of your truth
remember the truth of who you really are by tapping into your inner wellspring of wisdom and love
reconnect with the shared nature of the human experience to foster a sense of belonging
deepen learning through experiential individual and group exercises and activities that reinforce new patterns of self-acceptance and love
master new skills and practices for self-nurturing and self-acceptance to replace debilitating and destructive habits of self-criticism and judgment
