Event description

Description

Dr. Jaine Jones, Associate Professor, College of Education

Tuesday, January 30th | 12:00-1:30 PM CMU 126

During the “Cultivating Meaningful Mentor/Mentee Relationship” Power Hour Dr. Jaine Jones will discuss many questions that may arise about such as: differentiating between a mentor and an advisor, defining the role of a mentor; or perhaps simply how to identify a mentor, and much more. This interactive session will provide graduate students with some tips and strategies to successfully seek and maintain a meaningful mentor/mentee relationship – this will be a safe space for you to ask some questions that everyone seems to assume they should know the answers to.

In order to make the best use of our limited funds, please keep in mind our catering and seating numbers are based off of the amount of RSVPs we receive. If you RSVP and are no longer able to attend, please change your RSVP status or notify GO-MAP as soon as possible by emailing: gomap@u.washington.edu. We want to provide this professional development opportunity to as many students as possible. – Thank you!
