Description

Cultivating Kindness: How Getting Softer Can Make Us Stronger

It's hard for things to grow in a toxic environment. Yet, many of us have learned that being hard on ourselves (or others) is the key to motivating sustained change. This talk will take a brief look at the power of kindness to help us "till and nourish the soil" so the seeds of transformation can take root, grow, and thrive.

This program is led by Karen Barwick, LPCMH. Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator and the Program Director and Founding Member of Minds Over Matter Initiative, a local non-profit organization focused on the practice of mindfulness. Karen is committed to helping people of all ages develop life skills to help foster well-being on the individual as well as community level.

These program are FREE events; however, donations are welcome. All donations will be made to the Beebe Medical Foundation to support Integrative Health & Wellness programs in the community.

For more information, please contact:

Rita Williams, Health Coach, Beebe Wellness at (302) 856-9729 ext. 2936 or by email at shwilliams@beebehealthcare.org.
