Event Details

In this 1-day session, we'll practise the skills of Kindful Communication looking in particular at the emotion of anger. There will be work in pairs or small groups, time for individual work, short meditations, as well as large group work. Deepen your understanding of the important emotion of anger and how we can work more skillfully with it. Increase your awareness & compassion of anger arising in yourself or others, practice deeply understanding and transforming your anger, and building resilience to challenging situations.

In this 1-day workshop, we’ll
  * review key elements of Compassionate Communication (based on NVC*);
  * review teachings on Right Speech and mindfulness, and learn what the Buddha taught about anger;
  * learn about what anger is really telling us;
  * learn to hear anger in a new way and potentially transform it.

 A maximum of 12 spaces are available, so early booking is advised.

This workshop is designed for those who have completed the 2-day Kindful Communication Core Course or an equivalent, such as a Nonviolent Communication Foundation course. This course may be of particular interest if you are
