Description

Join us for an evening in our series of cooking classes offered for local community members in the Kalamazoo area. The courses are taught by individuals and families who have recently made Kalamazoo their home.

All courses are accompanied by brief instruction on "Refugee 101" material, but the emphasis of each course is on building space for conversation, learning, and of course, eating. This series invites community groups into the "homes" of our new neighbors, creating space for family-style cooking and community building.

Courses are free of charge, but donations are welcome in contributing to the Business Builder Scholarship fund offered by Can-Do Kitchen. You can find out more about Can-Do Kitchen and their current crowd-funding campaign here:
