University of Maryland Extension will hold workshops on How to Produce Cultchless (single) Seed Oysters for use in water column leases and on Water Column Production Equipment from many different countries. Information will include operation of downwellers and upwellers for starting seed with six different types of water column production gear being used at our demonstration oyster farm. Workshops will be held one after the other.

DATE AND TIMES: FRIDAY, JUNE 23 - Cultchless Seed 10-11:30am and Water Column Gear 11:30am-1pm,University of Maryland Horn Point Lab, 2020 Horns Point Road, Cambridge MD. Look for signs directing you to the Aquaculture and Restoration Ecology (AREL) building.
