Join the Friends of the Culpeper County Library for our 4th annual storytelling festival featuring Adam Booth, Geraldine Buckley, Donald Davis, and Michael Reno Harell.
What is storytelling? Simply put it’s timeless entertainment. Storytelling is an interactive way of using words and actions to tell a story and engage a listener’s imagination. It’s not stand-up comedy, although it’s often humorous. Culpeper Tells has included bluegrass and folk singing, but it’s not a concert. It’s not children’s story time, but most ages will enjoy most stories. A storytelling festival features performances and workshops from a variety of professional storytellers while also offering story slams—a chance for amateurs to tell a tale.
