“We’re gonna need a bigger boat.”  With 11 sold-out dinners crossed off the map, Captain Scott Commings is testing his sea legs and quadrupling the passenger manifest for a unique Culinary Boat Trip experience to the beaches of Hawaii, for an authentic luau atop the Citrus Grand Pool Deck at the Downtown Grand on Friday, April 27th at 7pm.  

Set against the dawning backdrop of one of Las Vegas’ most scenic rooftop pools and supported by Hawaiian décor and island entertainment, this  experience looks to embark on its first journey away from the lower 48 and offer guests a one-of-a-kind Hawaiian excursion complete with the most picturesque and over the top menu to date; highlighted by a WHOLE roasted pork.

Assorted Seasonal Fruits 

Salad/Cold Dishes - Macaroni Salad, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Crispy Chinese Noodle Salad & Mango Spinach Salad

Fried Rice Wok Station - eggs, peas, pea pods, garlic, ginger, chicken, baby shrimp, soy-mirin sauce

Hot Dishes - Kahlua Pork, Spam Musubi, Chicken Katsu with Tonkatsu Sauce, Char Siu (Spare Ribs), & Poi (Taro)

Whole Roast Pork - presented with garnishes, condiments & Hawaiian Rolls

Desserts - Butter Mochi Mini Cupcakes, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, "Dole Whip" Floats, & Haupia with Toasted Coconut

 

Along with Hawaiian trivia, sunset views, and complimentary flip-flops all guests will be entered for a chance to win a Citrus summer cabana. And of course, no Culinary Road Trip dinner would be complete without a stamp on your 2018 Culinary Road Trip Passport. The more Road Trip cities you visit, the more great rewards and dining experiences you will receive for future visits to the Downtown Grand.

Tickets to the multi-course dinner are just $55 per person and include perfectly paired, themed cocktails (all-you-can-drink from 7pm - 10pm). Tickets are now available for purchase  and are based on a first come, first serve basis.
