CULINARY PASSPORT: ATLANTA OFFERS FEAST FOR ALL SENSES
The 2nd Annual Food Festival Showcases Variety of Global Culinary Specialties, Highlights City’s Rich Culture and Thriving International Community
ATLANTA, GA –Atlanta’s largest international food festival, Culinary Passport Atlanta, will return for a second year on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the beautiful Stave Room in Midtown Atlanta, 7:00pm – 10:00pm. The groundbreaking cultural affair will celebrate Atlanta’s thriving food scene and culture while featuring an evening filled with live cooking demos from an emerging international chef. Attendees will also experience samples from a variety of global restaurants, craft beers, wines and spirits as well as live entertainment.
This year, Culinary Passport Atlanta will honor Chef Pano I. Karatosses and Chef DeeDee Niyomkul for their continuous contribution to Atlanta’s international culinary scene. Chef Karatassos is the executive chef of Kyma and Corporate Executive Chef for Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. Chef DeeDee Niyomkul is owner and executive chef at Nan, Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft and Chai Yo.
Following a successful launch in 2017, Faven Ressom, founder and visionary behind Culinary Passport Atlanta, decided to continue the annual international food festival to encourage the celebration of diversity in Atlanta. “My hope is that after attending this event, Attendees will feel encouraged to visit more international restaurants,” said Ressom. “My goal with this festival is to encourage our Attendees to learn and engage with other cultures local to Atlanta.”
Participating restaurants include Feedel Bistro, Tiki Bar, A-Priori, Naan Stop and La Sabrosita to name a few; an interactive art exhibit by Sheyda Mehrar and a live cooking demonstration by Italian Chef, Elisabetta Crivellero.
