Event description

Description

The Logan Fringe Arts Space will expand on Capital Fringe’s decade-long history of bringing the culinary arts and a good, radical time to the experience of art creating and going. DC’s food scene is seeing many local entrepreneurs continuing to contribute to the creative vibrancy of the area. We want to hear from you! Fringe is exploring the best way to utilize our kitchen, bar, and café. Our goals are a comfortable, reliable, affordable and a uniquely DC space to hang, eat, cheers and read the Sunday paper.

Join us at the Culinary Arts Town Hall meeting to learn about the renovated space and help inform the evolution of programs offered.

We will kick off the new year by listening and communicating through a series of town hall meetings and strategic focus groups. These will be held from January - April 2019. Data will be collected and disseminated at the end of the process through a public report. We will collect your input and discuss your thoughts on our newly proposed programs, and what we can do to further support the visual arts, theatre, music, and culinary arts community.

We will ask for your feedback on the new Culinary Arts Program, which will be an exciting new opportunity to further support the community, with the Logan Fringe Arts Space renovation also including a commercial grade kitchen.

RSVP is required to attend. If you're unable to attend after reserving a spot, please let us know as space is limited!

The Logan Fringe Arts Space was established in 2014 as the permanent home of the annual Capital Fringe Festival, which has been programming throughout the city since 2006. The Fringe has organically thrived and diversified the ways in which we support the local creative and artistic community. The guiding principle of the Logan is to support artists and creatives at all different stages and from all disciplines from developing to the presentation of their work.
