On May 16th, 2012, CUGOS (www.cugos.org) will be holding a special all-day "spring fling" event at University of Washington Seattle Campus (UW Forest Club Room-Anderson Hall 207) in place of our regular monthly meeting. We will provide FREE food and caffeine/soda.
The basic idea of this event is to come in the morning to learn something new (tools and real workflows)... stick around and apply it in the afternoon on some semi-structured hack sessions.
- 9-12: morning session
- 12-1: lunch
- 1-5: afternoon session

When & Where
The Cascadia chapter of the OSGeo is based on a regional FOSS GIS user group formed in 2007 called Cascadia Users of Geospatial Open Source (CUGOS). We are an active group of members who are passionate about open source software, GIS, and our region. We have members from all walks of life, a large spectrum of business and academia, and active OSGeo members (board members, charter members, and active project participants).
