Join us Sunday, December 11th and fill up on feeling good.
As humans, we need touch and affection. It’s scientifically proven that nurturing, welcomed consensual NON-sexual touch is good for you. Good for your body, heart and spirit. It lowers your blood pressure, relaxes your nervous system, stabilizes your emotional health and strengthens your ability to connect with and trust people.
Cuddle Tucson is a social workshop based on the "Cuddle Party" phenominom created by Reid Milhalko. It is about creating and honoring boundaries through conscious communication, combined with non-sexual touch that is nurturing, compassionate, and affectionate.
It’s grown-ups in pajamas! We will build skills asking for what you want, refusing what you don't want, and exploring new situations playfully and fearlessly. Share a hug, give a back rub, have a conversation, snuggle up with friends new and old.
Space is limited so buy your tickets early!
$10 online, $15 at the door.
The Cuddle Party rules are tried and true, and there’s a logic to them that goes deeper than you might think to create a safe, fun environment for people to connect. At a Cuddle event, the first 40 minutes or so includes an explanation of the rules that you can put to use everyday. Intrigued? Come to a Cuddle Tucson Event!
ARRIVE ON TIME: Once we begin the Welcome Circle and orientation, sorry, we can let no one enter late. This creates comfort and safety by knowing that everyone is on the same page about rules and expectations.
WHAT TO WEAR: Pajamas – nothing too risqué. Think more comfy than sexy. (More drawstrings, less lace! No shorts.)
WHAT TO BRING: Sorry, no liquor folks. Juice or sparkling cider is always welcome. A pillow or stuffed animal if you like. Otherwise, just bring your smiling self.
STICK TO THE RULES:
1-Pajamas stay on the whole time.
2-Youu don’t have to cuddle anyone at a Cuddle Party, ever.
3-You must ask permission and receive a verbal YES before you touch anyone. (Be as specific in your request as you can.)
4-If you’re a yes, say YES. If you’re a no, say NO.
5-If you’re a maybe, say NO.
6-You are encouraged to change your mind.
7-Respect your relationship agreements and communicate with your partner.
8-Get your Cuddle Party Facilitator or the Cuddle Assistant if you have a question or concern or need assistance with anything during the Cuddle Party.
9-Tears and laughter are both welcome.
10-Respect people’s privacy when sharing about Cuddle Parties.
11- Keep the Cuddle space tidy
