Event description

CUDDLE PARTY is an event that allows adults to experience the positive effects of non-sexual touch in an intentional space that is structured around consent and boundaries. We are ecstatic to offer this event as a safe space for people of all genders and those who are non-gender conforming. Everyone deserves a place to feel comfortable in our bodies while relating to others!

The first hour of this event is a workshop on what consent and boundaries look like at a Cuddle Party. Through this participants gain:

- Clarity and Confidence

- Boundary and Communication Skills

- Comfort, Support and Encouragement.

Once the party starts it is your opportunity to explore and experiment with different types of touch and connection. This could look like spooning but it could also be back rubs, hand holding, head scratches, napping, relaxing or even just observing. The possibilities are plenty!

Your Hosts:

Brianna Quijada is your Cuddle Party Facilitator and a certified professional cuddler on Cuddlist.com. She has found a calling in creating safer spaces for people to explore and experiment with touch and connection in a non-sexual way. She believes everyone deserves affection, intimacy, attention, and loving, wanted touch and is excited to help bring Cuddle Party to Maplewood. Please follow her at facebook.com/briannacuddles and visit cuddlist.com/Brianna to learn more about a one-on-one cuddle session.

Dr. Alissa Gardenhire, sex educator, life coach, media personality, speaker and author. She is also a member of the health care advisory board for cuddlist.com and interested particularly in expanding acceptance of cuddling in communities of color. The power of non-sexual, healing touch can go far to improve the lives of many and she sees applicability particularly for men and women dealing with infidelity, sexual addiction, and social isolation. Although everyone can use a hug! As a certified professional Cuddlist and your Cuddle Party co-Facilitator she helps clients to explore the power of non-sexual touch to soothe, get in touch with themselves and explore the mostly unexplored territories of consent and personal boundaries. You can contact her at her website www.ohgasmicliving.com and at www.cuddlist.com/Alissa
