CSWEP 2017 Peer Mentoring Breakfast for Mid-Career Economists

CSWEP is pleased to sponsor the 3rd Annual Peer Mentoring Breakfast for Mid-Career Economists at the from
Mid-career and senior women who would like to participate are encouraged to register. We are also looking for senior women willing to serve as mentors/table leaders. Registration as a participant or mentor can be completed via the Registration button.
This mentoring experience is intended for female economists who are tenured academics at either associate or full rank or non-academics who are 8+ years post-PhD. Mentors/table leaders should be senior women who are at the rank of full professor.
The event will open with two brief talks on mid-career issues by senior mentors (on topics suggested by participants). Each table will then have a Q&A session, facilitated by two senior mentors/table leaders.
- 8:00AM-8:10AM: Welcome/Breakfast
- 8:10AM-8:30AM: Senior Mentor Talks
- 8:30AM-8:50AM: Table Introductions: each person at the table will take 2 minutes to introduce themselves to the table.
- 8:50AM-10:00AM: Q&A: each participant will have 10-12 minutes to ask question(s) about the mid-career issues they are facing and receive feedback from their table participants and senior mentor/table leaders.
