Join us for a CSSJ Lunch Talk with CSSJ Faculty Associate, Professor Alex Gourevitch, entitled, "What Was Civil Disobedience?: MLK, Labor, and the Liberal Philosophers."

Alex Gourevitch is an assistant professor of political science at Brown University. His first book, From Slavery to the Cooperative Commonwealth, looks at the connection between the critique of slavery and the critique of wage-labor in nineteenth century America. He is currently working on a book about the political ethics of labor strikes.
