CSNA Mother Lode Chapter Annual Bocce Ball Tourney Legislative Fundraiser
Fri, May 12, 2017, 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM PDT
We have outgrown our Bocce Tourney location in Sacramento and moved up to a bigger newer space at Sun City Lincoln Hills in Lincoln CA. This year we will have 10-12 courts for the tournament as well as courts dedicated to practicing your skills and a loser’s tournament so plan to play a lot of Bocce.
Please RSVP below to let us know you will be coming. All school district personnel attend this event for FREE so bring your entire team. This is a great teambuilding and networking event for all.
We will be having a silent auction in addition to Industry Sponsorships. If you are unable to be involved as a committee or board member during the year this is your chance to support your chapter by obtaining some donations for auction items. Please ask your vendors and contacts for donated auction items.
Historically, school food service chapters in California host events to raise month to support their legislative efforts. Each year we send delegates to Washington D.C. and Sacramento to meet with legislators to represent our members by voicing issues that support child nutrition. Our Statement of Purpose:
"We believe money should be raised to completely cover the cost of the delegates' expenses and other costs incurred to support our legislative efforts at the state and federal levels, and the amount will be determined in advance and fund raising efforts will be determined accordingly. It is our commitment to use legislative funds appropriately, effectively and efficiently."
Therefore, we believe that the number of delegates our chapter sends to Washington D.C. should represent our entire region. Industry members have supported CSNA legislative efforts for years and our hope is that they will continue to do so. It is apparent that having a political voice is necessary to continue the quality and efficiency of our program and inform legislators of the important role we play in children's health and education.
The Mother Lode Chapter appreciates your support in funding our legislative efforts. Our membership includes school districts from the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley and throughout the foothill and Tahoe mountain areas. We enjoy spending this day with our industry members and look forward to this annual event. Please plan to join us May 12th.
Industry Sponsors will RSVP separately and provide their team information. Information about Industry Sponsorships will be sent out very soon.
Registration includes catered continental breakfast, coffee truck and lunch.
