Guest Speaker Bios:

Kim Stapleton, Founder & CEO, The Network Effect LLC

Kim has almost 20 years of business development experience in Chicago. For the last five years she has had her own consulting firm, The Network Effect; and she assists organizations with their continuous pursuit of developing new business. A lot of her time is spent on research and networking to figure out the best way to develop a new relationship. LinkedIn has been a great tool and she's happy to help share her knowledge with tips and tricks to using this social media avenue!

Before starting her own firm, Kim was a successful business development professional and recruiter. Also, Kim is active in local non-profits as a Committee Chair, Trustee and volunteer for various organizations.

Allison Summers, Executive Director, Zonta International, Zonta International Foundation

Allison has had 30+ years of broad and diverse senior leadership, board and advisory experience. Allison has coached and mentored presidents, CEOs and senior leaders from 90+ countries over the course of her career - and she loves talking about business. She currently leads Zonta International, which seeks to advance the status of women worldwide by improving women’s legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status.

Allison is a speaker at global events and has delivered presentations in 17 countries and counting. She regularly hosts a podcast, Disruptive CEO Nation, where she interviews innovative leaders and company founders who are driving significant change in the way business gets done. Allison is also author of the book, Connect to Influence, written to help individuals obtain a roadmap to develop a practice of connecting to attain influence and grab hold of life's best opportunities.
