This is CSA II's 1st Annual Poker Run to Raise Funds for The Cleanup of Confederate Cemeteries, CSA II does many charitable projects throughout the year from Fill a Ford /Truck with Canned or non-perishable food at Thanksgiving for the Food Banks, we do a Toys 4 Tots Drive between Thanksgiving and Christmas and now we are looking to expand our reach to Honor the Memory of Our Confederate Soldiers through Grave / Cemetery Cleanup and replacing the markers on the graves,
In order to do so, we must raise funds to complete our Mission of Heritage ~ Not Hate and to get the needed supplies to complete the cleanup from tools, markers, cleaners for the gravestones / markers, and if need be...new gravestones / markers for the graves. So, to raise the necessary funds to do this, we have come up with an Annual Poker Run to raise the necessary funds for this mission.
This poker Run is a Heritage ~ Not Hate Poker Run!!! A poker run is an organized event where participants, usually using motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, or other means of transportation must visit five to seven checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. We will also have a 50/50 raffle going on throughout the run.
The event will be on April, 1st 2017. Starting Point and Stops (TBD) and will come in an event update in the future. Entry Fee to The Run will be $10/pp or $15 if you have 2 persons on 1 bike or are in 1 car and tickets may be purchased online here.
If you have any questions about the run, please feel free to reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
