On May 9, 2017, Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan will celebrate the fifth annual CRUSH Grand Rapids, returning to Reserve Wine & Food in downtown Grand Rapids.
Since its inception in 2008, the mission of CRUSH has been to create a world-class regional fundraising event for the benefit of Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, an independent non-profit foundation serving families throughout the state of Michigan.
This year we will be presenting the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan Founders Award to Herman Miller Cares for its exemplary community support and spirit. The Healthcare Innovator of the Year Award will be presented to the Pediatric and Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Teams at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and Spectrum Health hospitals for their advancements in treatments for patients with blood cancers.
The vehicle for this fundraising effort has been a signature series of elegant and unique degustation events featuring world-renowned wine experts and culinary masters who create extraordinary wine and dining experiences for their guests. Since its inception, CRUSH has raised over one million dollars for the benefit of patients and families battling leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers.
