Croydon Orthodontic-Restorative Study Day 2026

We are delighted to welcome orthodontic and restorative registrars preparing for the MOrth examinations to the Croydon Orthodontic–Restorative Study Day 2026. This focused, full-day programme is designed to strengthen core knowledge, refine diagnostic thinking, and build confidence in case-based discussions and treatment planning.

Throughout the day, participants will engage with consultant-led lectures, interactive group sessions, and collaborative scenario-based exercises tailored to the structure and expectations of upcoming specialty examinations.

Estimated Programme Schedule

• 09:00 – 09:15 — Registration
• 09:15 – 12:30 — Morning Lectures
  A series of targeted teaching sessions covering key orthodontic and restorative principles relevant to examination preparation.
• 12:30 – 13:30 — Lunch
• 13:30 – 16:00 — Group Case-Based Discussions & Hands-On Treatment Planning
  Small-group interactive work focusing on realistic cases, structured reasoning, and exam-style decision-making.
• 16:00 – 16:30 — Feedback & Close

Location:The Postgraduate Medical Centre (PGMC), Woodcroft Wing, Croydon University Hospital. 530 London Road, Croydon, England, CR7 7YE

• The nearest train stations are;
• West Croydon overground and train station (20 min walk or 10-15min on bus routes)
• East Croydon train station (30 min walk or 15-20 min on bus routes)
• Please note that there are generally more frequent train services to East Croydon but less onward bus routes available. Most staff choose to take the bus from the stations.
• When you get to the hospital go through the main hospital door and take the elevator to the first floor. If you then follow the signs for the 'yellow' departments and look out for signs for the postgraduate medical centre.
• Registration will be in the cafe of the postgraduate medical centre.
