Event description

Description

The Badb in Irish folklore, intelligence studies around corvidae neurobiology from University Tubingen, the marginalia of Edgar Allan Poe, and western Murder Ballads all collide in CrowPlay, as a conspiracy of ravens leads the audience through an ever expanding series of ritual and tableau.

This multidisplinary, devised work is created by Invulnerable Nothings and was originally developed at both Theatre Deli London and Centrespace Bristol. CrowPlay will receive its world premier with BAX as part of FringeBKLYN at the 2018 New York International Fringe Festival.

Founded in 2016, Invulnerable Nothings is an international performance collective committed to radically flat collaborative structures, intermedial stagings of poetic language, and the theatrical activation of research and library centers. The company has presented work at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Volcano Theatre Wales, AvignonLeOFF, The Brooklyn Art Library, The New York Public Library, The Sekrit Theater in Austin TX, The Bath Fringe Festival, and The Milk Bar Bristol, among others and is based in BNrooklyn, New York.
