THE SEMINAR: MARCH 23, 2017
2:30 pm: Registration
3 - 6 pm: Seminar
A celebrity national Securities Attorney, Mr. Richard Weintraub, Esq., will share the inside story on Crowdfunding. Raising capital from investors is a security. Learn the correct way to present your business plan.
Also a trademark, copyright & intellectual property business attorney, Tristan Younghaus, Esq. from Coastal Pacific Law, will present us with domestic as well as international business law. We need to copyright and protect our original concepts before displaying them online.
Because Crowdfunding depends on raising money from the "crowd", we are also honored with a presentation by Ruth E. Hedges, the Creator and Executive Producer of the 6th annual Global Crowdfunding Convention (GCC) held in Las Vegas. GCC is more than just an event — it’s a catalyst for growth and development of the entire Crowdfunding Industry. Ruth will demonstrate how to organize a Crowdfunding campaign and how to automate the investor recruitment system.
This is a second in a series of Crowdfunding Seminars produced by Jerri Nachman, Founder, CrowdVesting Media, Encinitas, CA. Nachman has been a business owner in Encinitas since 1986 as an award winning video producer, website developer and graphic designer. Her focus in the past 17 years has been developing marketing campaigns for securitized investment firms throughout the United States raising up to $150 million for one deal alone. Jerri will share techniques on how to speak to an "investor" rather than just a "customer".
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The seminar is geared for "for-profit" and "non-profit" entities as well as Veterans. Regardless the stage your organization is in raising capital, anyone interested in seeking funding through the Internet using the new Regulations of Crowdfunding should attend. HELP A DESERVING PERSON: You can also donate a ticket to a deserving person/Veteran by purchasing a ticket in their name. Please let us know their name, email address and phone number so they can get in at the door. Thank you for your open heart and support.
VENUE: THE LEICHTAG FOUNDATION COMMONS, BARN 2
We are so fortunate to be meeting at the Leichtag Foundation who took over the Ecke Poinsettia Ranch in Encinitas a few years ago and created an energetic HUB of entreprenurial growth. They also founded the adjacent Coastal Roots Farm in 2012, a futuristic organic farm who gives millions of pounds of fresh, clean produce to underprivileged families.
Since its inception in 1991, the Leichtag Foundation has granted over $111 million to 391 different organizations. Of this amount, over $96 million has been granted since becoming independent in late 2007. About 23% has stayed in Encinitas.
