Crowdfunding: How to Build a Successful Campaign Step by Step
Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (PST)
San Francisco, CA
Crowdfunding has become one of the most important tools in speeding up the entrepreneurial process. It allows great ideas to flourish fast and not-so-great ideas fail even faster, helping you push or pivot earlier. It's the test for an entrepreneur to see how well their idea resonates with the public before investing too much time, resources and energy.
For this workshop, we will be using a methodology that includes the Crowdfunding Campaign Canvas created by Marked Point. It's similar to the Business Model Canvas in that it allows you to focus on the right questions to answer in building your campaign and allows you to be dynamic and flexible as priorities change.
Topics this workshop will cover are:
Where do I start when planning a crowdfunding campaign?
What are the most important components to a successful crowdfunding campaign?
Who Should Attend:
Entrepreneurs looking to fundraise while recruiting passionate evangelists to support their company through crowdfunding.
