Workshop Presenter: Mike Zimmerlich
DESCRIPTION: Instead of giving equity of your company or offering collateral many are looking towards crowdfunding as a way to boost their business. Crowdfunding is an alternative method for raising capital by gathering mid to small contributions from supporters. Anyone can run a crowdfunding campaign for anything from equipment and manufacturing to design and development. The challenge is how much can you raise and how to convince others to support your goal. This workshop will guide you through how to setup your campaign to have the greatest chance of success.
BIO: Mike Zimmerlich is a crowdfunding advisor and owner of an independent record label called 80/20 Records. Mike discovered crowdfunding when finding alternative methods of raising capital for his artists. As a crowdfunding advisor he's assisted several individuals successfully raise funds through their campaigns from music albums to co-working spaces. Within a year he's helped raise over $100,000 for clients.
