Crosstown Trail Opening Weekend
Event Information
Description
Celebrate the opening weekend of the San Francisco Crosstown Trail on National Trails Weekend!
The Crosstown Trail runs diagonally across San Francisco from the edge of the San Francisco Bay in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area to the Pacific Ocean at Lands End in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Designed to connect neighborhoods, open spaces, and other major San Francisco trails, the Crosstown Trail is open to both pedestrians and bicyclists, and connects many parks, open spaces, business districts, and residential areas. Each of the route’s sections start and end close to a major public transit stop, so the route can be enjoyed car-free. Learn more about the San Francisco Crosstown Trail.
Take part in a hike or bike ride along part or all of the route on National Trails Weekend, June 1-2, 2019! Find a hike or bike ride to join in the list below. All hikes/bike rides are free and open for you to join. Please kindly RSVP to let the hike/bike ride leader know you're going to join them.
