Description
Join us for a weekend of art and culture featuring the work of VANESSA GERMAN - visual and performance artist based in Homewood, PA. German explores the power of art and love as a transformative force in the dynamic cultural ecosystem of communities and neighborhoods. She is the founder of Love Front Porch and the ARThouse, a community arts initiative for the children of Homewood.
She will spend the weekend with the students and community of Penn State Greater Allegheny creating power figures and sharing her unique life as an artist and how art affects culture.
The weekend is as follows:
Friday, April 5th - 12 noon to 12:45 pm: UNITY TALKS hosted by the studentleaders of PSUGA - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Friday, April 5th - 1 to 2:30 pm: POWER FIGURE WORKSHOP - FOR PSUGA STUDENTS ONLY!
