About this event
An important update about the Crosscut Festival.
In response to community feedback, the Crosscut Festival has decided to shift most of this year’s in-person events to a virtual format. All sessions originally planned to take place at Seattle University on Saturday, May 7th will now be available as part of the virtual program schedule.
The Crosscut Festival team has prepared an exceptional lineup of journalists, authors, policy makers and innovators. We are excited to be able to add Tuesday and Saturday sessions to our virtual lineup, including Chairman Adam Schiff, Governor Inslee, Attorney General Bob Ferguson, the Mayor’s Roundtable, City Attorney Ann Davison and many more.
The Crosscut Festival is a celebration of big ideas and bold thinking - a gathering of a community of the curious. Connect with noteworthy political leaders and newsmakers along with authors, journalists and experts focused on the most important issues of our time. The Crosscut Festival features a week of virtual interviews, live podcast recordings, panels and special events that explore forward-thinking in Politics, Social Justice, the Environment, Technology, Innovation and more.
Past speakers include Jane Goodall, Nancy Pelosi, Ibram X. Kendi, Macklemore, Pramila Jayapal, Judy Woodruff, Rick Steves, Julian Castro, Heather Cox Richardson, Robert Gates and many more. Click here for a look at the 2021 festival's speakers and sessions.
