CROME-LIFE Closing Conference
The Environmental Engineering Laboratory (EnvΕ-Lab) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.TH.) invites you to the Closing Stakeholder Event of the European funded project CROME-LIFE+ “Cross-Mediterranean network for environment and health” on 20 November in Athens.
At the event distinguished experts will present their insights and concrete tools for environmental health impact assessment, as well as preventive strategies and policy measures to minimize health costs and protect public health. In addition, the project team will showcase its final findings and health data after exposure to chemical agents in the four districts of the Mediterranean basin, Greece, Slovenia, Italy and Spain.
CROME-LIFE aims to demonstrate an integrated methodology for interpretation of human biomonitoring (HBM) data that will allow to quantitatively assess the impact on human health due to acute/chronic exposure to chemicals acting as neurodevelopmental and neurological toxicants and/or human carcinogens in four distinct areas of the Mediterranean basin, Greece, Slovenia, Italy and Spain. The project started in July 2013 and received funding from the LIFE Programme, EU’s funding instrument for the environment. More info at http://www.crome-life.eu.
