This is an intermediate level class where you move on from the basics and learn to interpret crochet charts. Learn tips on how to keep track of rows, what symbols mean, and how to read and follow a basic crochet chart while you make your first granny square.

Jasmine Suarez is a self-taught fiber artist. Born and raised in New York City, she has dabbled in many creative activities including throwing pottery, professional cake decorating, knitting, sewing, crochet, and more. When not teaching, Jasmine is designing new sewing and crochet patterns.

Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 24 hours before the class begins.
