Lets get our needles out and make some Love! We will be learning how to make an easy crochet heart. This heart will teach you a handful of stitches.
You will Learn:
o Magic circle (Used for making hats, hearts, hackey sacs, and much more)
o Chain stich
o Double crochet
o Triple crochet
We will be making a few, you can make a ton of them and sew them all together and make a decorative kitchen towel. You could make a bunch and attache them like a garlands for decorations for your next party! You could also use the hearts you make to give to people for Valentines day! :) I can show you how to make the hearts larger so you can with a darker thread write initials into it, or write names. You could make two and sew them together like a pocket book for a child or a pocket to give someone a yummy stash of Hersey kisses. If you make 3 or four with green thread you can turn them into 4 leaf clovers.
So many things can be done with the crochet heart, come on by and make some with me.
This class will be 2 hours. You will be finished with your first heart quickly, I encourage you to stick around and make multiple hearts. Or learn how to make them larger.
You will be given yarn and the appropriate hook to take home with you after class to create more at home.
