This course is designed to assist individuals in a self-guided, self-disciplined way of thinking. People who think critically put many skills in to practice. Often times we say things that we really have not put a lot of thought in to…whether it is because we are upset, have a strong opinion on the topic, or simply just to have something to say. By the end of this course you will have developed some important skills of critical thinking, and how to apply those strategies to every day conversation. These skills are needed in any conversation, especially if faced with a difficult topic. Individuals will learn to construct well-reasoned arguments on a variety of topics through group discussion.
*Must have a minimum of 5 registered in order for class to make.
