Please join Dr. Kizito for his talk titled, "Structural rearrangements in the nucleus localize latent HIV proviruses to a perinucleolar zone supportive of early transcription reactivation." He currently works as a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology at Case Western Reserve University. His research looks at the kinetics of the complex proviral interactions with the host transcriptional factors and the nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes that mediate HIV RNA synthesis and their nuclear retention and export in a Tat- and Rev-dependent manner.
