Crisis Prevention Instruction "CPI" Initial Course Feb 11, 12, 13 - 2014

Crisis Prevention Instruction (CPI) is a program “focusing on the safe management of disruptive and assault behavior". This 3 day introduction to crisis prevention emphasizes early intervention and nonphysical methods for preventing or managing disruptive behavior. Participants will study and practice personal safety methods, including restraint positions, transport techniques and team strategies. Importance of a team is emphasized in all types of situations. Certification is good for one year. 3 hour refresher course will be in June and August.
Class will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Feburay 11, 12 and 13th from 3:30 - 6:30 each day. Must complete full training to be compensated.
