About this event

Join the AIA Miami's Diversity and Inclusion committee and Perkins & Will for a screening of the Sundance Film Festival winning documentary film, Crip Camp.

This groundbreaking documentary film marks a historic moment in the mainstream representation of the disability experience. The film shares with insight, clarity, humor, and beauty the experiences of a group of disabled young people at a summer camp, and the resulting journey to activism and adulthood.

Their journey changed American history, and in doing so, provides an opportunity for all to delve into the rich and complicated history of disability activism, civil rights culture, and history.
