This online webinar will explore issues in Georgia related to Criminal Justice, Professionalism, and the Coronavirus.

About this Event

On Thursday, June 11, 2020, from Noon - 1 pm, the Commission will offer an online webinar via the platform to discuss Criminal Justice, Professionalism, and Coronavirus.  The Program Co-Chairs are Rebecca Holmes Liles Grist, Solicitor-General, State Court of Bibb County and Claudia S. Saari, Public Defender, DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office.  Chief Justice Harold D. Melton will give brief Welcome Remarks. The CLE has been approved for 1 hour of CLE credit in Georgia, including 1 hour of professionalism credit.

This is a FREE event but pre-registration is required on or before June 9th at 4:00 pm or until we reach capacity. The link to attend the Webinar will be sent to pre-registered attendees on June 11th approximately 1 hour prior to the CLE.

  • The CLE will be presented on the platform and you will need to access the seminar via a Zoom link using a smartphone, tablet or computer. A dial-in telephone number will not be provided for this webinar.

On May 28, 2020, the Supreme Court of Georgia entered an order allowing Georgia attorneys to take all 2020 CLE Hours online.
