Robin will provide an economic update on the U.S economy and Iowa in particular. She will discuss just how well the economy was doing ahead of COVID, and will then dive into how the recovery from the COVID-induced recession is progressing.

Robin Anderson is the Chief Economist for the State of Iowa and the Division Administrator for the Research and Policy Division at the Iowa Department of Revenue. In that role, she oversees the research team and policy directors. She started in that role in March 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Economist at Principal Financial Group, starting there in 2011.
