Have you always wanted to start an outdoor education program but don’t know where to start? Are you looking for exciting hands-on activities for an existing youth program? Have you been looking for a way to share your love of the outdoors with kids in your community? We have the answer –CREEK FREAKS!
Educators of all kinds are invited to join us for a Creek Freaks Training Workshop. Designed for children ages 10-14 the Creek Freaks program allows children and educators to discover science in a fun new way. This Creek Freaks program is an interactive hands-on curriculum that engages kids in outdoor adventure and learning. Students become empowered as local stream experts and are encouraged to continue advocating for, and working to improve, water quality.
Creek Freaks is a great fit for afterschool programs, summer camps, nature center staff, youth organizations, naturalists, and enthusiastic classroom teachers.
Visit www.creekfreaks.net for more information and to see a copy of the curriculum.
