Please join us for the Annual Joint Councils Meeting and Distinguished Speaker Series of Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council, Venice Estate Planning Council, Estate Planning Council of Manatee County, Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida, Financial Planning Association and FICPA.

Participants will learn how to use LLC and Limited Partnership structures to avoid estate tax inclusion when the contributor to an LLC or Partnership has retained the right to determine if and when there will be distributions from the entity. Participants will learn the basic and intermediate functions of a 678 trust, and how 678 trusts can reduce income taxes under Section 199A. Participants will also learn about key charitable and creditor protection structuring, and recent developments with respect thereto.

About the Speaker:

Alan S. Gassman, J.D., LL.M. is a board certified estate planning and trust lawyer who practices in Clearwater, FL. He has an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida, and practices in the areas of trust and estate planning, taxation, wealth preservation, and the representation of physician and medical practices.

Mr. Gassman speaks at many tax conferences, national programs and national and local webinars, including Bloomberg BNA Tax and Accounting, the Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institute and at many other conferences and webinars.
