Write Your Way to Better Listening and Communication
This ninety-minute workshop explores five aspects of voice in creative writing:
stylistic voice; physical voice; POV (point of view); voice as sound; and voice as discipline.
***The cost is $25 with the book or $20 without it.***
Everyone will write from prompts and be encouraged to read their work aloud.
Participants will offer positive and insightful input to one another. The writer receiving input will have the opportunity to engage with her or his peers.
Every writer should practice reading aloud at least once during each workshop.
Another goal of these workshops is to help writers, artists, and various types of public speakers become completely comfortable with reading their work to other people.
