Speaker: Jacques Rodrigue
Blue Dog, Arts, and Education: A Lawyer's Perspective
Learn how Jacques Rodrigue, son of famed Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue, bypassed a career in law to work to help Louisiana education through arts-integration. Jacques traces his father's artistic history and draws parallels between his own career path and how we have to prepare our students for a life full of unknown opportunities.
Join us at The Baton Rouge Gallery, 1515 Dalrymple, Baton Rouge.
This month, the Gallery is featuring a juried selection of the work of local high school art students. A fitting environment for Jacques' exploration of art in education.
